Sad times
After weeks and weeks of being sick mike’s dad finally got talked into seeing a doctor yesterday, turns out he has pneumonia… and they found a huge mass on his lung which turned out to be lung cancer… Naturally mike and I are very upset, but he gets tests today to see what stage it is and we won’t find out until Wednesday. We talked to his sister in Georgia who is having a baby soon and she was upset thinking about how she wants her kid to have a good relationship with his pop-pop. for anyone reading this that doesn’t know, mike and I are in a very serious relationship and have general outlined plans for the next year or so involving a wedding and starting on our first kid. I also want my kid to have lots of time with him, and my dad… But as of right now my dad os getting on a liver transplant list and we won’t find out for another day if mike’s dad is going to be okay or …well… How long he has. I’m staying as positive as I can until we know for sure, but it’s hard seeing mike so upset. Let’s hope everything will work out okay.
